This is the personal data protection policy of PW Clinic Pte Ltd. The terms "we," "us," and "our" refer to PW Clinic Pte Ltd and our associated clinics. Examples include, but are not limited to, your: name, nationality, date of birth, gender, contact details (such as address, email address, and telephone numbers), NRIC/FIN number, medical history, and other medical records. If you provide personal data of others, such as your family members, it is assumed you have obtained their consent for us to collect, use, and disclose their personal data as described in this policy. 

Personal Data Collection and Usage

Medical Care

• Providing outpatient and inpatient medical treatment and services.

• Managing and coordinating your care, including follow-up appointments and continuity of care.

• Capturing photographs, videos, and/or sound recordings for clinical purposes.

• Using secure, integrated AI transcription tools within our system to capture and document clinical notes. 

• Storing patient information within accredited medical software systems.

Administration

• Delivering the products and services you request.

• Responding to your queries or feedback.

• Processing appointments, service bookings, admissions, referrals, and discharges.

• Processing and collecting payment for treatments and services.

• Obtaining reimbursement from healthcare providers for services rendered.

• Verifying identity and conducting administrative screenings for patient registration. 

• Complying with legal obligations.

• Creating, storing, and backing up patient records for continuity of care, billing, and legal compliance. 

Business Operations

• Conducting business analytics and planning.

• Reviewing our services to ensure continual care.

• Operating CCTV ("Closed Circuit Television Cameras") within our premises for security purposes.

Additional Purposes

• Any other purposes directly ancillary to, or required for compliance with, the primary medical, administrative, and operational purposes stated above.

Personal Data Disclosure

Your personal data may be disclosed to third parties, either in Singapore or elsewhere, to achieve the purposes outlined in this policy. These third parties include, but are not limited to:

• Doctors and healthcare professionals involved in your treatment.

• Third parties providing critical infrastructure such as medical systems.

• Third parties and similar service providers you have used to obtain our services.

• Healthcare providers, facilities, or agents where the sharing of information is required or permitted by law.

• National registers and databases documenting conditions and treatments as required or permitted by law.

• Any person involved in your care or payment for your care (including family members, friends, or caregiving organisations) and anyone you have authorised to be contacted.

• Regulatory authorities to comply with legal obligations.

We take the security of your personal data extremely seriously. Our company implements industry-standard security measures and follows strict protocols in order to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. It should be noted that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. 

Access, Correction and Withdrawal of Consent

You have the right to request access to or correction of your personal data held by us. Retrieval requests may be subject to a reasonable administrative fee. You may also withdraw your consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal data at any time. Please note that should you choose to withdraw your consent, we may no longer be able to continue providing our services to you.
